Chauvin’s defense attorney should have DEMANDED, and received, a change of venue. His failure to do so, alone, should be grounds for appeal. IMO

It is obvious that you have never been a defendant in a criminal trial, I have and your lawyer does not DEMAND anything from the GOD, aka the Trial Judge.

If he does, you lose everything from then on out, and you will regret your DEMAND.

Think about what you write before you post it.

Petitions to the trial court are called "motion." Chavin moved for change of venue. Motion denied by the trial judge. Likely to be one of several arguments that will be advanced on appeal, why the verdict should be undone.

The defense attorney requested a change of venue. It was not granted.
