A man who is a former mayor and a busy “Defund The Police” social justice warrior was arrested this week on numerous felony changes for sexual crimes with children. “The charges against Robert Emmanuel Jacob, who is openly gay and married as of 2019, include transportation of a child for lewd and lascivious acts, arranging a meeting for sexual purposes with a person believed to be underage, sexual penetration of a child under 16-years-old and harmful material sent with the intent to seduce a minor,” The Post Millennial reported.
According to law enforcement, child sex abuse may have begun in December 2019 and continued through March 2021. Sebastopol Police booked 44-year-old Jacob on 11 felony counts related to sexual assault crimes against a minor aged 14 or 15 according to police.In addition to the former mayor’s accused sex crimes, he has posted frequently in support of violent extremism against police. In June 2020, he thanked Black Lives Matter rioters, glorifying the arrested as “warriors” part of the infantry on the front lines.On June 5th Jacob posted on Facebook: “Progress Again!!! Finally, in regard to Trump’s fake news posts on FaceBook, Zuckerberg finally moved from protecting Trump’s “Freedom of Speech” to “We’re going to review the policy allowing discussion of threats… of use of force to see any amendments we should adopt.” Again, thank you BLM, the rioters, and the protesters. Your direct actions are creating change,” Jacob posted. On June 7th Jacob posted on Facebook: “Defund The Police” doesn’t mean we want anarchy and no law. It doesn’t mean we don’t need police officers. Those are talking points of the right. Dirty cops need to be fired. Departments de-militarized. Violent units disbanded. Defunding is about re-funding, as my friend Mary Coffey puts it. Defund the police to re-fund the resources we’ve been slashing for generations. For example NYC police budget is $6 bil, public health is $1.6 bil. Let’s fix that math.”
Jacob posted frequently about defunding police. The Sebastopol police department released the following statement on the arrest:
“Sebastopol police arrested sexual assault suspect (Report #21-0220) On March 30, 2021, Sebastopol police officers received information of possible sexual assaults that occurred in the City of Sebastopol between December 2019 and March 2021. Upon further investigation, the suspect was identified as Robert Jacob. On April 10, 2021 at approximately 7:00am, Sebastopol police officers contacted Robert Jacob in the 7400 block of Woodland Avenue and took him into custody for an arrest warrant related to five felony and one misdemeanor sexual assault crimes against a minor, including 266j PC, 288(c)(1) PC, 288.2(a)(1) PC, 288.2(a)(2) PC, 288.4(a)(1) PC, and 289(i) PC. Robert Jacob was transported to the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility and is being held without bail.

How can anyone be surprised? The ONLY reason anyone wants to defund the police is because they want to commit crimes and get away with it. I utterly reject any other motive.
