His opponent was a woman, Christie’s lieutenant governor, Kim Guadagno. Supposedly her ties to Christie did her in and of course all the stupid voters in NJ that voted for Murphy.
And he legalized pot this past February for all the potheads out there.

Ah, thank you for that update. I’m sure my friend told me the pubbie was a woman at the time of the election. Hasn’t talked to me about Murphy much since.
I disagree! Murpyh Can always serve as a piss poor example!
Friggin idiot!
Murphy Proposes New Ambitious Gun Control, Safety Measures for New Jersey
> April 15
Require gun permit applicants to first pass as safety course;
Mandate that all guns not in use be kept in a lockbox or gun safe;
Increase the purchasing age for a firearm to 21, from 18;
Mandate microstamping technology so that fired rounds can be traced;
Require ammunition sales to be tracked electronically;
Ban .50-caliber weapons;
Close what Murphy called a loophole that allows those moving to the state to not have to meet New Jersey’s requirements to get a gun;
Make it easier to hold gun manufacturers liable for violence stemming from the use of firearms;
Would like to see the demographic data on assailant and victims. That’s the root of the actual problem.
That is interesting. There has to be a bit of history behind that I suspect that leads back to too many Tories living in NJ after the Revolution. (Just a wild ass guess.) Just across the river from NJ, Pennsylvania has one of the strongest rights to bear arms of any state, and for the most part it lacks gun control laws, although it needs to become a constitutional carry state to get back the true meaning of the Commonwealth's constitution. The PA's constitution reads:
§ 21. Right to bear arms.
The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.
I prefer this wording over the US Constitution. "Shall not be questioned" vs. "shall not be infringed" I view as being you can't even bring up the topic of gun control vs. it's open to discussion.
I guess Camden’s crime rates aren’t high enough for him, so he’s got to start doing more of what isn’t working.
And not one of his proposals will stop criminals from getting guns or using them.
It was the only ban on carry in the colonies historians can find. It appears to have been momentary and limited; none the less, it has been cited.
Murphy is running for reelection this year. New Jersey and Virginia are the only other two states with gubernatorial elections in the fall.
Off to the side mass shooting Typical Liberal Screed same lib Butthole. MONEY INVOLVED for NY.
Mass Shooting at Indianapolis Fedex Facility ‘Senselessly’ Claims 8 Victims – NBC New York
Eight people were shot and killed in a late-night shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis, and the shooter has killed himself, police said.
I live in the county next to Memphis, shootings, killings on nightly news every day. It is now experiencing Black Flight to next counties or AR and MS as it borders the counties and states.
We had 4 killings last yr all elderly home break ins, Perps from Memphis. We are mostly rural, many gun owners.
I’m Hearing Impaired from Meniere’s where they put holes in the ear drums to put med, first attack was 62, 2nd 72, finished nearly all my hearing off. You are Not suppose to sleep in Hearing Aids. I damn sure do. I also CCW. and we are going Permitless. We have hawks, coyotes, have 2 small 12 lb lap dogs, and live in front of a farm field.
I’m sure most of the crimes are committed by those illegal guns from out of state. I guess they just can’t help themselves.
lol OK, he’s good for that.
But the Constitutional rights guaranteed by the Constitution are extended to all citizens like voting rights
