Sens. Mitt Romney and Kyrsten Sinema are working together on their own minimum wage proposal, after an increase to $15 was stricken from reconciliation for the American Rescue Plan.
HuffPost first reported a plan was being drafted.
"We're negotiating a minimum wage proposal which we would ultimately take to our group of 20 and see how they react to it, and go from there," Romney told reporters on Wednesday. He did not comment on how much the wage would be, or the timeline for it.

Well right now you cannot find anyone to work for under $15-$20 per hour. The stimulus bump on unemployment is keeping people out of the workforce. I said yesterday that they are using it as a backdoor way to raise the minimum wage.
It will be difficult for low end service employers as the need to raise rates and pass on the wage increase to consumers will take certain services out of affordability for the middleclass consumer.

Raising the min wage has no historic effect on employment either way.

What Democrats and rinos like Romney are doing:
Open the borders to drive down wages.
Increase the minimum wage to $15 to compensate for lowering the wages and to avoid paying the political consequences of opening the borders.
Disrupt the economy and cause unemployment for documented workers by increasing the minimum wage to an unrealistic level.
Avoid the political consequences of these actions with government giveaways such as dropping payments from helicopters to people regardless of actual need.
Expect inflation you caused to bailout the government debt generated by these economically cancerous but politically popular laws.
Get out of Dodge before the crash.

I don’t have to worry about the GOP party dying on any hill.
Besides the minimum wage doesn’t apply to illegal aliens and trafficked human beings.
