Facing the Facts of War with Russia
American Conservative ^ | 04-12-2021 | Douglas MacGregor

Conflict with Russia may be inevitable. Kiev’s strident threats to resolve the crisis in Eastern Ukraine with force of arms, combined with Washington’s refusal to acknowledge that Moscow actually has legitimate national security interests in Eastern Ukraine, makes it so. Equally troubling, the president sees no particular reason why he should explain to the American people why Washington’s readiness to support Kiev’s use of force against Russia makes strategic sense for America.

We do not have the military ability to be involved in such a senseless undertaking.

Unless there is an official Declaration of War and we use nuclear weapons from the start, anything less would be giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I said this in another post - Daiper Joe’s puppet regime is going to get involved in a war somewhere, and their sudden pathetic appeals for patriotism and support from fly-over, red-state America will fall on deaf ears.

The DC elites can stoke burning cities, suppress constitutional rights, and call good Americans “white supremacist” only so much before they lose all support.

Morever, there are wolves in DC and Congress who actually will continue to push such political schemes to tear America apart for their own benefit.

Its a very dangerous situation.

President Reagan had assured the Russians that the US would go no further than the Baltics - this is Bush slippage which goes back to the President’s biggest mistake in letting that family on the ticket. I remember that warmongering goofball John McCain saying that when Russia invaded part of Georgia - “we are all Georgians now”. Well, maybe YOU and your druggie wife were mister, but not the rest of us. What are we doing guaranteeing the borders of Ukraine which is where the Kievan Rus (Russian nation) began? This would be like the US having a dispute with Mexico and the Russians shipping in weaponry and advisers.

> Unless there is an official Declaration of War... <

That kind of thinking is so last century. We don’t go to war anymore, so Constitutional requirements no longer apply.

Instead we carry out “kinetic actions”. These actions occur at the sole discretion of the American king. Oops. I didn’t mean to say “king” there. I meant to say “president”.

oohhh, war with Russia. There’s a fine idea. Be sure to buy plenty of iodine tablets before it starts.

There will be no war with Russia, TPTB will not allow it for the simple reason the line cannot be crossed to risk a Nuclear War. A limited war of attrition may be fought where there will no winners or losers except the taxpayers and those sent into the conflict.

We cannot get involved in a conflict between the Ukraine and Russia, we may be supplying arms to the Ukraine and the Munitions Makers come out ahead.

We can’t use Nuclear Weapons , there would be no going back and we destroy everything. There is no such thing as a winnable Nuclear War.

“Some of the newest air defense systems—like the Russian S-500—are so capable that many U.S. Defense officials privately worry that even warplanes like the F-22, F-35, and the B-2 risk destruction if they attempt to penetrate them.
Since prevailing winds in Eastern Europe would spread nuclear fallout across Russia and Central Asia all the way to Korea, the Russian use of nuclear weapons is very unlikely—unless of course, U.S. forces use so-called “tactical nuclear weapons,“

And this is how we will get nuked. There is a mentality in our generals and neocons that is spoiling for a conventional war with Russia, and is convinced they will allow us to penetrate and bomb them conventionally. And as long as we only hit military targets and use conventional bombs,
they won’t go nuclear. The pentagon fantasy is that terry will accept defeat at home, and slink back to their bases and learn their lesson. Turn they’ll have a color revolution and install a globalist friendly government. It’s very naive.

The fact is that WWII was a traumatizing devastation for them that we scarcely comprehend here. And that came after similar events of WWI and Napoleon. It is nearly a national religion there that any nation that attacks them at home WILL suffer devastation of their homeland 20 minutes later.

For the entire Cold War everyone knew going Force on Force again Russians at home meant nuclear war. Now our idiot generals and leaders are emboldened by Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya etc.

Lord hope that they well be kind enough to only nuke DC, but I think I’ll get some SPF five million sunscreen.

Or the songs from the 1960s, like Tom Lehrer's WWIII song, "So long, Mom, I'm off to drop the bomb."

You are right. It seems Russia and China are coordinating on Ukraine/Taiwan to create a two front conflict. The common reasoning is America has to fight a three front war—one against half of its own population (“white nationalists”, whatever that means), one against China and a third against Russia. Bets are the focus will be on the domestic front.

"There is no such thing as a winnable Nuclear War."

Except a war against those who do not have nuclear weapons.

In any case WWIII is more likely to be fought using bioterrorist weapons to inflict economic destruction. Sort of like the ChiCom bioterrorist virus released from China and the resulting economic damage it has caused. This is more likely a test run for a more effective bioweapon the ChiComs (or the Russians) are working on (and possibly aided with US taxpayer money supplied by Anthony "Benedict Arnold" Fauci).

Russia is our enemy. As policy we should block any country that invades its neighbors, but it doesn’t always need to be us getting involved.

Russia’s economy is only a bit larger than Australia’s. It wouldn’t take much to defeat them.

This is Europe’s problem. We can give them money and support if need be, but the troops on the ground should come from Poland, Germany, etc.
