MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell on Monday announced that he's launching "MyStore," an online marketplace for entrepreneurs that will rival Amazon, the largest global internet-based store.
Speaking on Steve Bannon's War Room: Pandemic, Lindell said, "I'm looking at another thing we're going to be launching, which is MyStore, which is a rival to Amazon."
Currently, a version of MyStore is on the MyPillow website, featuring a range of patriotic and miscellaneous products, including "Freedom Flags," "Freedom Coffee," "USA Flag Pole," and conservative books about former President Donald Trump.
Lindell boasted that his online store will include a range of products from "entrepreneurs and investors" in a video shared on the site.

Well that would be friggin’ awesome. Would it actually impact amazon? It might take a while.
That would be wonderful. Focus on American-made stuff. I already avoid ordering from Amazon and would switch to MyStore in a heartbeat for ordinary consumer goods.
“...an online marketplace for entrepreneurs that will rival Amazon...”
Doubtful, Mike.
Awesome. Now we need someone to bring about an alternative to PayPal.
Have to start somewhere, hosting servers would be nice as well.
I tried using jet.com (walmart’s version of amazon) but wasn’t impressed. I’ll give this one a try, though.
Delivery times are longer, but do I really need whatever item in 2 days?
He’d better copy-write “MyPrime” also quickly.
Amazon still isn’t truly profitable without a lot of GAAP tricks.
I kinda wish he’d just do his pillow thing and go away. He’s rich enough with it. If he tries to take on Amazon it would be like if someone tried to compete with local Walmarts in the 80s-2010s. Hopeless.
Focus on NON-Union American made stuff.
If it is made in a UNION shop I will avoid it.
Or this afternoon? LOL! And, will Mike have zero carbon delivery vehicles? Solar powered jets? It would be nice if he was able to offer all the same items that bezos has available.
Sage advice for Mikey.
Will the Good Pillow Store be advertising there?
Amazon is what it is because of the mountains of Chinese crap it sells.
I don’t see how he can do it.
I will as well. I went to the site and selected a few items but couldn’t find nthe promo code which was advertised. I tried calling customer service was was told the wait time was “over 1 hour”.
I’ll try again but I am thrilled there is so much activity.
He doesn’t have to be better than Amazon. He has the whole MAGA thing going for him and I for one don’t care if his stuff is a bit more money. Every sale I give him is one sale I don’t give to Amazon.
Multiply that by 80 MILLION or so.
80 million might be enough to keep a pillow shop up, but the internet now has an extremely high barrier to entry. Not just technically, but marketing and financially.
That’s why these mega tech corps laugh at people that say they’ll drop them for something else.
Lindell better be prepared to go broke, if he could even start to fund this kind of thing. Even a new startup social media company has a better chance than a store now.
If a student at a strategic management business class brought up a case-study that involved ‘going up against Amazon’ now I’d flunk them. Maybe not 25 years ago, but he’s way way too late now.
