That they do.
I use a 50gr in 5.56 for coyotes and other varmints (4-legged) around here. Absolutely devastating. But the real “bad boy” is the 140gr version in 6.5mm (a Creed or 260 Rem).
There’d be no head left to examine with THAT bullet.
I used 150 gr 30.06 Ballistic tips for white tail. All but one dropped on the spot. The exception was spun around in a circle so hard it broke it’s neck on a small tree.
