“My take away of this is ...”

Mine is that we’ll never see a full analysis of what happened because there are certain things you don’t say these days if you want to keep your career.

So the Sergeant Major is proud of the guy’s professional behavior. How professional is it to go a mile with blue lights on your tail and not get out of your vehicle when ordered to?

The officer didn’t act perfectly either.

I agree. The one officer lost his bearing. BUT, the officer didn’t ‘act perfectly’ some 4+ minutes AFTER the driver refused to comply with directions.

If the guy would have just turned off the car and then exited the car as he was instructed to do for four minutes, the police would have looked at his paperwork, probably told him to put the temporary tag on the outside of the window because it’s not visible through the tint on the glass and then sent him on his way.

But, he couldn’t do any of that because he’s special and entitled.

Saw a much longer video on Newsmax last night. Went from feeling some sympathy for the Lt to being disgusted by his behavior - and went from believing the cop was a total jerk to believing the cop had good reason to do what he did.
