One week ago he was calling for the all star game to be moved out of Atlanta and then shortly there after it was. Now he’s expressing concern about the idea of moving the masters because of the impact it might have on working people in and around the masters. So in other words, there wasn’t a lot of concern for the $100 million that experts say will be lost because the all star game leaves Atlanta.
But now all of a sudden it feels like after a week of criticism some people are catching up and saying, oh, this actually hurts a bunch of the people that we’re trying to protect in this country right now.
It’s also the position that everyone has put themselves in. We knew immediately wherever the all star game was moved, everyone would look clearly at the voting law there and say wait a minute, there are pieces of the voting law in Colorado that are worse than the one in Georgia.

Moving the all star game from Atlanta is racism at all levels!! All the vendors, parking lot attendants, hotel workers, cooks, dishwashers, store owners, taxi drivers, and yes pimps, taking their jobs and income away.
all for a rule to produce ID to vote, which you needed an id to get those jobs in the first place!!

Baseball and Rob Manfred look foolish. They protest a state which has voter ID by moving the game to a state which has voter ID.
By their own criteria, baseball accomplished nothing with this action. The political statement makes no sense based on their own criteria.
The PGA has no say in where The Masters is held. The tournament is run by the Augusta National Golf Club as a private but very swanky event.

I think also that if reforming the law noticeably changes results, it will be a powerful model for state legislatures nationwide to work with.
I still don’t get why Georgia’s voting laws are of any concern of any of the “Sports” out there and why they feel they have to do something about it ????????
