Actress Sharon Stone characterized cancel culture as the “stupidest thing” she has ever seen.
Stone gave her thoughts on cancel culture during Thursday’s episode of the SiriusXM show “Just Jenny.”

“I think cancel culture is the stupidest thing I have ever seen happen,” Stone told host Jenny Hutt. “I think when people say things that they feel and mean, and it’s offensive to you, it’s a brilliant opportunity for everyone to learn and grow and understand each other.”
“We all come from different ages, different cultures, different backgrounds, different things, and have had different experiences, different traumas, different upbringings, different parents, different religious backgrounds, different everything,” she added.
Stone said we should “give people an opportunity to discuss things before you wipe out their entire person over a statement or a comment or a misunderstanding.”

Hurray for Sharon Stone. That’s one small step for Hollywood, one giant leap for civil discourse.
Most of those engaging in this tactic are incapable of an articulate discussion. They are little more than social media terrorist.
Stone said we should “give people an opportunity to discuss things before you wipe out their entire person over a statement or a comment or a misunderstanding.”
Spoken as if from a genuine liberal perspective from yesteryears gone bye bye.
Today’s woke leftard LIEberals are insecure tyrant hacks who will squash you if you oppose their ‘Groupthink, Newspeak agenda’. Brutal stupidity on steroids so yeah good on her speaking to truth.
[Blind Gossip] Here is another blind item from actress Sharon Stone!
It features both a producer and an actor.
I had actor approval in my contract.
No one cared.
They cast who they wanted. To my dismay, sometimes. To the detriment of the picture, sometimes.
I had a producer bring me to his office, where he had malted milk balls in a little milk-carton-type container under his arm with the spout open.
Mmmm… Whoppers!
He walked back and forth in his office with the balls falling out of the spout and rolling all over the wood floor as he explained to me why I should f*ck my costar so that we could have onscreen chemistry.
Say what now?
Why, in his day, he made love to Ava Gardner onscreen and it was so sensational!
So it sounds like the Producer once an actor.
Here is the lovely Ava Gardner.
Now just the creepy thought of him in the same room with Ava Gardner gave me pause. Then I realized that she also had to put up with him and pretend that he was in any way interesting.
I watched the chocolate balls rolling around, thinking, You guys insisted on this actor when he couldn’t get one whole scene out in the test.… Now you think if I f*ck him, he will become a fine actor?
Nobody’s that good in bed.
Well, except for Mr. Chocolate Balls Producer, who apparently believes he brought out the best in Ava Gardner.
I felt they could have just hired a costar with talent, someone who could deliver a scene and remember his lines.
I also felt they could f*ck him themselves and leave me out of it.
It was my job to act and I said so.
This was not a popular response. I was considered difficult.
Naturally I didn’t you-know-what my costar; he was baffled enough without me confusing him some more.
But he did make a few haphazard passes at me in the upcoming weeks, I’m sure spurred on by this genius [Producer].
So it sounds like the Actor stayed on the project and he and Sharon Stone did complete the movie as costars.
Name the movie, the Producer and the Actor!
By the way, Sharon Stone’s memoir is titled The Beauty of Living Twice.
The Left SJW Democrat aggressiveness is out of control and keeps escalating to dangerous levels...a frightening sign.
The arrogant Left seem to get off on bullying, and relegating those of us not a member of their “Club Lib” to powerlessness.
REALTY CHECK The U.S. Dept of Education, and many mental health professionals, define bullying as verbal aggression,
repeated over a period, involving using an imbalance of power, and calculated acts to exclude people (cancel culture).
The bully repeatedly uses status to exert power and to hurt bullying targets....includes use of harassment,
rumor mongering, threatening anyone who supports their targets....and other forms of intimidation.
While state laws have little consistency in their definition of bullying, we would do well to change laws
to make political bullying......and its manifestations like cancel culture .......a punishable crime.
I think the actor was William Baldwin.
Movie was Sliver.
Anyone who can throw a frozen turkey into a neighbor’s yard is OK in my book! (MTV series “The Osbornes”).
Ava Gardner was great in Night Of The Iguana...as was Deborah Kerr. While driving down to Florida years ago I saw a sign on I-95 in North Carolina saying “Ava Gardner Museum”. It wasn’t far so I paid a quick visit. It was pretty interesting.
“While state laws have little consistency in their definition of bullying, we would do well to change laws to make political bullying......and its manifestations like cancel culture .......a punishable crime.”
Not for me. When we are called to defend our free speech and 1st Amendment rights, it will not be comfortable and may be worse. We are in for a fight. These political bullies will eventually be put in their place. Live free or die.
Agree 100%. A liberal friend & I were talking about a proposed property tax increase & how it wouldn’t impact apartment resident. I remember asking them if a 10 unit and it was raised a $1,000 per year that the landlord would increase their rent a $100 per year. Their answer was that taxes were the landlords problem and not the tenants.
‘Bribed” is another good Ava Gardner movie.
Where was she when it was just Conservatives being cancelled?
F her!
Now she will be wiped out.
Yes, I’ve experienced that. Ask a simple question, and you get attacked.
Your being offended offends me.
Even a blind bird catches a worm once in a while.

My impression of her just increased by 1000%
