I don’t think this particular kid was much different from the other paranoid schizophrenics who have shot up public places because of voices in their heads. That he is muslim does muddy the waters I admit, but I don’t see anyone talking about radical clerics or a fundamentalist mosque or anything. Maybe I have missed it, correct me if I am wrong, but his family seems more assimilationist than separatist.
