The effectiveness and capabilities of the FBI and most law enforcement agencies has been severely hampered and diminished by the politically correct straightjackets imposed by the leftit politicos that control them. The classic example is that the FBI was ordered to back off the investigation of the two 9/11 terrorists who were attending flight school caring only how to fly a jet in flight . They had no interest in learning how to take off or land. Clinton officials in the FBI accused the agents of racial profiling, and anti Muslim bias. The FBI is now a biased political organization in full collusion with the Left.The agents know not to deviate from the narrative.

Probably around 100 of us here, maybe 200. They issue “National Security Letters,” which allow them to present warrants for information to just about anyone. Like to JR here. And as part of it, there is a gag order, penalty of immediate jail. They get our email address and password, and ISP if logged.
Then they go to the ISP with same, get a download of all activity. Subpoena email service for emails. All under gag orders too.
So yes, they have info on some of us. JR is not allowed to say he got a particular subpoenae. But he is allowed to say, “I’m tired of getting served by the FIB...”, which he has done.
They flag some posters here. Every post is scraped and sent through an AI program that scans it in realtime, anything remotely suspect is sent in reports to interns to scan and flag for more action. Reports sent daily to dedicated analysts for follow up or not.
So yes, some of us are under automatic surveillance, low level. But any remark about “We need to take action like ___” is in a file, and used for proof of whatever, like Jan 6th.
They present remarks on boards, cellphone recordes, tracking pings from towers, build their “case” against us MAGA types for any stretch of prosecution. Extradite us to DC, put in cells, no bail, for months. Bankrupt us with the process, until we plead out to lesser and get 2 years in fed pen. While islamists with FIB files shoot places up.

I remember libertarians complaining about the overreach of the Patriot Act and we were all assured that the checks and balances would prevent an infringement of our civil liberties. Well, I am not a libertarian and I probably even supported the Patriot Act at the time but I am firmly convinced that one single entity cannot be trusted with absolute power. The Patriot Act was passed to protect us against foreign enemies. Well, we are finding out that the Patriot Act was turned on American citizens and there has never been a full reckoning and punishment(that we know of) to ensure that it will never happen again.
That being said, we should be aware that everything we do and say is being recorded. And something that you say now can be held against you in the future.

• The FBI knew in advance the San Bernardino Terrorists (Tashfeen Malik).

• and now the FBI knew in advance of Ahmad al-Aliwi Alissa.

Everything I wrote is open source information. Websearch “National Security Letters,” and see it is true. No judge approved warrant needed. And Jan6 is now universal excuse to go after us deplorables. So definitely they have increased surveillance recently.
Also, if FIB shows up at your door, first thing out of your mouth should be “I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have, but I want a lawyer present, and I am recording this.” You do have 24/7 video on your property with sound, right? Cheap.
