Wearing masks and social distancing could go on for “years”, says Public Health England’s chief of immunisation.
Dr Mary Ramsey claimed on Sunday that social distancing and other practices like wearing a face-covering would go on for “quite a long period of time”.

But next time I think I may be sick with the flu, I will wear a mask to try to protect my wife from catching it.

The lasting effects on children could make this so. They’re being taught to distrust anyone not wearing a mask. Not allowed to attend school in a normal fashion. I’m truly afraid of how this plays out in the next 10 years. Along with being encouraged to rat on your neighbor.
She is right, masks and distancing have become part of our culture, the germaphobes have won and now they are....ahem....normal, and what used to be normal is now reckless and dangerous behavior.
Well, we all KNOW it is going at the very least until the mid-terms, because they absolutely must have mail-in balloting until then to seal the communist takeover deal.

There was a high school teacher on the radio and she said the kids are coming to school with filthy masks that should be washed and they even stink. Now how do those protect anyone? They should make a requirement of a GOOD MASK that works, worn in the proper way, and FURNISH them to the kids. Like our dentist told us, they wear N95 with paper mask over it. Changing the paper mask every 20 min. or whenever they go to a room with a different patient. If they just mandate any mask, they are possibly doing more harm than good. But someone in the federal gov. is making money on these masks!
Could?! Try will. I am amazed at the number of people who love the mask/distancing/lockdowns.
My dentist’s hygienist said they were joking that “now everybody looks like us!” They’ve always worn masks when working on patients.
When AIDS was an undeniable death sentence they didn’t even shut down the “bath houses” where fags went to transmit,and contract,the disease. But now masks are gonna remain mandatory?
honestly the 1 thing out of this Kung Flu nonsense that I like, is social distancing among strangers in public.
When we go out to a restaurant and there’s nobody at the table next to me? ( or the hostess decides to push 3 tables together so toddlers can have a party,lol) Kinda nice. Old weird guy at the grocers wanting to chat about the food in my cart? Don’t feel the need to get too close dude!
I do enjoy the space between me and people I don’t know.

Sounds like England has a quack or quacks like Fauci giving advice that puppeteers, who like quacks, can turn into policy. It might be beneficial to tell the quacks to go look for a different line of work.

Our state is going mask and restriction free in a few days. I’ve been without a mask for weeks, except for woke Trader Joe’s.
If you CHOOSE to wear a mask and social distance, knock yourself out. Just don’t try to force it on ME!
Perhaps you should wear 2-3 masks each.
