Video clips of disturbing attacks on the street. Insults hurled by politicians. Derogatory graffiti scrawled on businesses.

For most of the last year, Asian-Americans have sounded the alarm over the rising discrimination they have experienced and witnessed, fueled in part by racist language and false claims about the coronavirus by former President Donald J. Trump and other public officials. Celebrities, activists and influencers on social media have implored people to stop the hate against Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders.

Yeah. My good neighbor down the road is Thai. My good conservative buddy is Korean and my sister in law is Japanese. I take great offense of being called a racist. All the attacks on Asians have been done mostly by blacks that I’ve heard of. But all blacks aren’t bad either. Divide and conquer. An age old tactic by commies.

Of course the NY Slimes takes the opportunity to smear President Trump in the 2nd sentence. What a surprise! And just what “false claims” did he make? Is it the FACT that Communist China is responsible for starting and spreading a deadly and devastating worldwide pandemic?

They’re using anti-Asian violence as a wedge to shut down any talk of the origins and responsibility of the Wuhan virus. It’s no different than using the Jan 6 breach of the Capitol as an excuse to squelch any talk of election fraud.

It was very tragic, but it may have not been about “hate”. The perp was a nut job who, by his own admission, suffered from some kind of deviant sexual addiction (at the tender age of 21, no less). It was also a one-off attack as I cannot recall a similar incident to this in my lifetime (60+).

From what I’ve read, the vast majority of attacks on Asian Americans come from African Americans — who everyone knows cannot possibly be racist.
