Airline industry pushes US to standardize health papers

Leading airline and business groups are asking the Biden administration to develop temporary credentials that would let travelers show they have been tested and vaccinated for COVID-19, a step that the airline industry believes will help revive travel.

Various groups and countries are working on developing so-called vaccine passports aimed at allowing more travel. But airlines fear that a smattering of regional credentials will cause confusion and none will be widely accepted.

“It is crucial to establish uniform guidance” and “the U.S. must be a leader in this development,” more than two dozen groups said in a letter Monday to White House coronavirus-response coordinator Jeff Zients. However, the groups said that vaccination should not be a requirement for domestic or international travel

They want these health records to be some sort of digital program. It makes it easy to process.

We could disrupt this ‘passport program’ in its initial stages.

Simply require any business that requires these health records to validate and maintain PAPER records for 7 years. Force those business to spend time checking each individual’s records and cost them time and capital maintaining a physical database.

Basically burry those businesses in paper work. Make it a bureaucratic headache.

One of my favorite things in life was to travel to foreign countries and have new experiences.
These sacks of shit have ruined this.
This is all about loss of freedom, and the rise of control.

Folks should read the entire article.

Groups include unnamed traded organizations, also labor unions and, unsurprisingly the US Chamber of Commerce.

I’m calling BS in this.

I think Deep State is trying to shove this down the airlines’ throats.

BTW, this would all be moot if Congress passed blanket WuFlu liability protection for all US biz.

Why is Congress refusing to do that?

Every 3 months you need another shot?

Yeah, that won’t go over very well with the public

What? I have news for them: I am not going to take the COVID vaccine. Period. It's stupid and dangerous and if the airline industry actually believes that will be their revival...dead people don't book flights.

I did three coast to coast round trips since the “pandemic” started. If no such papers were needed during the “pandemic”, why should they be needed now.

If someone wants to feel better about travel THEY can get a vaccine, if they want to, and THAT is all that is needed for everyone. It is up to you to protect yourself and that is all it should be.

Can you post a link to this information?

Looks like it's some current CDC recommendation:
VERIFY: CDC says fully vaccinated people can skip quarantine after COVID-19 exposure only if they meet these conditions

There is NO doubt, you will need to have Covid vaccination papers for many things. Airlines, cruises, some restaurants, stadiums and concert venues....

Clearly the Deep State wants to end travel - especially internationally - and make sure we indentured serfs stay in our villages where we belong, with no ability to go further than an electric car’s out-and-back range.

I guess we counterrevolutionaries are misusing air travel to meet up and talk about AR-15 modifications. :)

Temporary means forever.

We are still paying taxes to fund the Spanish American war.
That was a temporary tax.
