A chunk of ice 20 times bigger than Manhattan has broken off the Brunt Ice Shelf in Antarctica. Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey first detected cracks in the shelf ten years ago.

And this is CAGW/Gorebal Warning?
Oh Noes. The world is ending in 3 Years...2 Years...One...! How is this news?! I want to see the volcanoes erupting in Hawaii dammit!
Excellent!
Now we can move toward geographical distribution.
The two poles have hoarded the world’s ice for hundreds of thousands of years.
Somebody build a big mixer and break out the Margarita ingredients!
biden’s fault... 😁
Butt, butt, butt jf’nkerry said we had 9 years. WTH? 😨
Chips and salsa!
Woohoo!
Meh. Just a few years ago in 2013-2014-2015, just the EXCESS area of sea ice around Antarctica was larger than the entire Greenland ice cap!
I am NOT impressed if an area the size of Manhattan breaks off of one area - if the that end of the world is gaining 2.16 million extra square kilometers of highly reflective sea ice just a few years prior.
I’ve seen somewhere on line that Iceland’s biggest volcano is letting off steam and might be preparing to blow its stack. Meanwhile, Mt. Etna was erupting back in December; not a major blow, but enough to make folks notice and turn their ‘worry meters.’
Who would’ve though ice sheets GROW and brake off into the ocean. Global alarmist keep telling us they’re melting which means they are not growing and braking off.
Ice, Ice, Baby!
Maybe Vanilla Ice can go on an Antartic road trip with Greta,
Al Gore and Cardi-B. It would make for interesting filming until the all rescue helicopters arrived to take them all back to Manhattan.
That’s remarkable.
No big deal. We’ve known for over a hundred years that we’re coming out of the Little Ice age that lasted 1300-1800. We still haven’t gotten to the average temperatures of the Medieval Warm Period.
Greenland sounds a lot better than Iceland from a branding viewpoint.
We’re going to see massive global cooling as the mega iceberg floats up to Tahiti.
