President Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Neera Tanden has criticized Republican Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski on Twitter, one person who could put an end to her Senate confirmation.
In a tweet from 2017, Tanden told Murkowski that she must be “high on your own supply” after Murkowski tweeted about lowering the corporate tax rate. Tanden needs one Republican to vote in favor of her confirmation, with the Senate split at 50-50, as Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin announced Friday that he would oppose Tanden’s confirmation.
“No offense but this sounds like you’re high on your own supply. You know, we know, and everyone knows this is all garbage. Just stop,” Tanden tweeted.

Murky is so lame that I’m not 100% confident that this high-on-your-own-supply slam is enough to stop her from betraying us (again).

Count up the stories of "Pelosi ---or Schumer--or Schiff---said although I often disagree with President Trump, for the good of the country I am reaching an agreement with him." Still some fingers left on both hands. Not many such stories if any.
Murkowski gets that awkward moment when she learns that being a traitor to her own party didn’t endear her to the enemy.
Like many defectors and traitors, she learns that the other side doesn’t celebrate her, but always holds her in suspicion. After all, they just saw you betray your own people... what would you do to them?
I will vote against every incumbent Republican in the primaries, they all need to be gone.
So they’re not going to confirm her because she was mean to them on Twitter? Bunch of wusses.

Murkowski won’t go against her democrat masters. The R in front her name is for show only.
If Manchin won’t support, no republican should. It’s total top cover to defeat a nominee.
It would also put a black eye on the “Biden” administration and make them look bad for nominating a a person that didn’t garner 100% dem support.
That’s the reason you see swalwell (out however you spell it) already using the race card on her lack of support.
Regardless of race, gender, or politics, it has NEVER worked out well the flame the crap out of the people who will be deciding on your job :-)
I don’t think that’s prohibitive, but I do suspect the price just went up.
With 88,000 past tweets to sift through it comes as no surprise Ms. Tanden might miss a few that could come back to bite her on the ass.
If I or anyone I know in the real world had time to tweet 88,000 times we would be rightly considered an unemployable loser.
