That so-called sniper rifle looks more like something an Antifa civilian would have, and his uniform is ate up. It appears from some of his videos, though, he claimed to have fought with the YPG—not the U.S. Army (deserter).

@Original Duplicate Sure it’s Daniel. However, as I said, many YPG veterans knew and now can confirm that dan was unhinged. The guy made fake / impersonating facebooks to stalk people, sent death threats to people, and of course, finally for what he was arrested for. And as I said, no. Dan didn’t actually fight in Syria. As he has said in his own comments, his “rescue” of three VICE news idiots wasn’t because they were in harm way, they just needed some action shots.

The YPG is a fork from the PKK: the Kurdistan’s Working Party (designated terrorist organization). I’m guessing that he was being a poser about that, too.
