You might be right on both counts, but I’m proceeding on the idea that you are wrong. When this first reared its head about a year ago, virtually every national leader shut his/her nation’s economy down. Most to a much larger extent than here in the U.S. And as the virus has ‘circled back’, to coin a phrase, they’ve done it again.

It’s my belief that they were told something that scared the crap out of them. I find it interesting that none so far have chosen to share what they were told. If the vaccines are a fraud, then I guess they can be called a Trump fraud, since he made a point of bragging about his Operation Warp Speed bringing them to the public in record time.

No one right now how all of this will end. It may disappear like the “Spanish Flu” of 1918-19, or as some are claiming, the Wuhan China virus might become a permanent feature of life, not just in America, but around the world.

My wife and I are at a “vulnerable age”. We know a few who have gotten Wuhan, one who died from it. She goes shopping in town every day, we eat indoors at restaurants, and aren’t living in fear. Got our first shot a couple of weeks ago and are scheduled for our next one next week.

In any case, those of us who lived through the last year will remember it as a singular event of our lifetimes.
