To think that in a year she will be the Vice President.
That’s not how it works.
The 25th Amendment to the Constitution, Section II says:
“Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the vice president, the president shall nominate a vice president who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.”
So the Speaker of the House does not automatically ascend to the Vice Presidency. Harris (the new President if/when Biden steps down) would appoint whomever she wishes to appoint.
