DEFINITELY YEP!!!
They were going to kick him out so I am glad he beat them to the punch.
Impeachment “hearing”. Does he drop the mic on those dolts too?
I thought SAG and AFTRA merged (like AFL-CIO) a while back due to dwindling resources.
Yep. They voted to merge back in 2012. They are now SAG-AFTRA.
Oh, you South Park fans!
That movie was hysterical. Arec Baldwin! I have the DVD.
Still watch it about once a month.
Thanks for posting this, BFAC.
I really miss Trump. S.D. should find some more granite for the heads of Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.
Meant to ping you too. About the South Park movie. :)
Ah, yes. The Film Actors Guild..
It really is funny.
Jerry Seinfeld said that he couldn’t make the comedy he did back then because of political correctness.
I wonder if the same thing would apply to that movie. After all, it does make fun of the French! LOL!
And it gets better: in a financial disclosure form filed when he announced his presidential candidacy, Trump disclosed that he receives a $110K annual pension from the SAG, a union he belonged to for over 30 years. There was also speculation he collects a second pension from the American Federal of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA), from his days on “The Apprentice.” So, the “performers” of SAG-AFTRA may hate his guts, but their pension fund is still sending Trump a check every month.
BTW, the average SAG pension is $19,000 a year, but most actors never collect a dime because they never work enough in their careers to qualify.
Also, Trump is spot-on in his criticism of SAG-AFTRA. Both unions sold their rank-and-file down the river a long time ago.
Here’s a Hollywood Reporter article from 2015 disclosing Trump’s pension from the same union that tried to “discipline” him: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/how-did-donald-trump-get-810566
I miss him too!
One correction: while SAG and AFTRA have merged, their pension funds remain separate, so any payment Trump receives from AFRTA would be in addition to his pension from SAG.
It really is! He’s great!
These self-righteous celebrities and those who support them make me wanna puke!!! Only lamebrains with no life support them.....and that’s scary....
I have noticed that politicians, most notably Lefties, hold so many things to be ‘sacred’ but with the apparent exception of of God.
It actually would’ve been better to let them eject him from the guild.
Then he’d be able to drive them even more crazy by appearing on screen without membership - let them try to sue him for going on a tv show without being a member!
Looking at the way the SAG has been awarding movies recently, we might as well call them
the Film Actors Guild.
It is vital that Patriots call out the hypocrisy of the leftist and to no longer be passive punching bags. I really liked his letter. I think he should pay to have it published in the LA Times along with more data showing how useless SAG is for its members.
