No - the GOP ignoring and disclaiming the self-evident fraud from the November election drove down participation. If the GOP had actively fought to correct the fraud, the voters would have responded.

It’s hard to know what is True and what is not when it comes to our elections. So, to me, there is no way this factoid can be “confirmed”.

The GOP showed no willingness to fight for honest elections. Maybe people stayed home because of that. Maybe they didn’t. Maybe the Democrats cheated (again) in January. Maybe they didn’t.

Bottomline, for me: blaming the voters is a mistake. The party needs to provide compelling candidates and ensure honest elections. The party failed on both counts and they lost. It’s childish to say the voters failed.

The problem isn’t the message that the election was stolen. That’s a leftists and GOPe narrative. The problem is that we didn’t even have the opportunity to show this country in court the overwhelming amount of evidence that proves it was.

This won’t be popular here, but I fully believe it. People believed the election was stolen, that their vote didn’t matter, etc., and stayed home. Trump’s disastrous call with the GA SOS didn’t help either.

Why blame Trump. It would be better to blame the governor and Secretary of State, all they had to do is allow the machines to be examined and do a hand recount and signature match.

The election *was stolen. Nothing changed and the same ballot dumping system was used once again, so, once again we woke up with different results than when we went to bed.

If Purdue and Loeffler wanted votes, they should have stood with Trump on the signature verification, certifying the electors etc.

Instead they were friends of Kemp, Wall Street and the Chinese... i.e. useless establishment scum.

So the ‘stolen election lie’ was against Trump before it was for Trump? 🧐

Quoting leftist outlets such as the ACJ to justify blaming Trump voters for the GOPe purposefully making themselves the minority ( <levin>That's right I said it !</levin> ) is not a good look ...

The 2020 election was fraudulent. Ignoring that fact won’t make it go away.

“ Over 752,000 Georgia voters who cast ballots in the presidential election didn’t show up again for the runoffs just two months later, according to a new analysis by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution of recently released voting records. More than half of the no-shows were white, and many lived in rural areas, constituencies that lean toward Republican candidates.”

That’s the difference in the Georgia senate elections right there and serves as damning evidence that the Democrats conspired to depress the voter turnout of traditional Republican voters.

It was the call centers all over CA which did part of it.

Ba omen for GOP candidates in 2022. I wonder if the GOPe is noticing? In what should be a major GOP blowout in 2022 could be the opposite. I predicted the result of the low turnout a few weeks before the GA election, kinda obvious that accepted the corruption w/o an investigation is going to demoralize GOP voters.

The Never Trumpers & DNC Media do love working together.

Shorting the stimulus to Americans (thanks China Mitch!) and the fraud seen in Fulton County had nothing to do with anything.

These people are shameless.

Of course they did.. the fraudulent presidential election and the GOP doing nothing about it, showed folks votes don’t matter...

GOP is going to lose 10s of millions of loyal dependable voters for this..

They committed suicide, and don’t realize it

Hogwash and codswallop.
A stolen election, pure and simple.
They are peeing on us and telling us it’s lemonade.

The Democrats played us and they played us very well.

They made it look like they stole the election

That is a huge win for them

They got their opponents to think the system is rigged, who would vote in a rigged system? nobody

This was genius

They out smarted us here

I don’t think the ‘rats cheated, well to the point of victory, not saying some hijinks weren’t done here or there. But I don’t think it was massive, systemic or coordinated

The ‘rats outsmarted us, we need to admit this or we will never win again.

NOT FIGHTING ELECTION FRAUD killed the turnout.

It wasn’t stolen election “claims” that cost Republicans the Senate majority.

It was actual stolen elections, and Republican leadership’s failure to contest them.

All that Republican MAGA voters demanded of Georgia’s Republican Senate runoff candidates was that they refuse to accept the stolen election of November 3rd and fight on behalf of President Trump to overturn it.

They ignored those demands and not only alienated the base, but they allowed their own elections to be stolen!

What complete idiots.

I think the author has this all wrong. I'd suggest the low GOP turnout in the Georgia races was driven by two things:

1. Laziness. There are far too many voters who simply don't care enough to get out and vote for a special election.

2. Awful candidates. Even Donald Trump couldn't motivate his own base to get out and vote for the two inept losers who were running on the GOP ticket.
