The question is : why are sports separated by sex? Is it because there are biological differences? Or is it just to have one group that is prettier than the other?
While I have mixed feelings on Rand, this is OUTSTANDING and is EXACTLY what the Democrats have been doing to us for decades. For the Democrats, they always take the ‘moral high ground’ and make our side sweat trying to explain our positions.
But with Republicans it is JUST THE OPPOSITE. The Gay Mafia (i.e., Republican leadership, as we just learned), NO DOUBT, has been telling Republicans to stay away from the ‘Transgender Issue’ since it is ‘divisive’. And, no doubt, 99% of elected Republicans are SO STUPID that they believe it.
So, for the record, having guys compete in women’s sports is ‘divisive’, it cuts the Democrat Party IN HALF, with the feminists chasing their tails trying to figure out whether to support the girls or the radicals (mostly guys).

I will start with a blunt statement. I call humans born with XY chromosomes "boys" when they are at an age less than 18, and "men" thereafter. I call humans born with XX chromosomes "girls" when they are at an age less than 18, and "women" thereafter. That is biologically accurate, and an accepted norm for all of previous human history, but for the last couple of years by a few confused progressives.
For a purported 'news' organization to define that as "mislabeling" defies not only history, but also common sense. Forbes is now on my list of something never to be trusted, ever.
Perfect counter to their fallacious standing that people can declare themselves whatever their illness tells them to.
The answer is...ABOLISH the Education Department.

And so, should you be confirmed as Education Secretary, would you, as you have answered and as a matter of federal policy mandate that all schools must allow these transgender students the opportunity to participate in sports? Would you then logically and fairly require the schools and their sports athletic associations to develop transgender teams so that transgendered boys and girls are only competing against other transgendered boys and girls? And as a matter of privacy of the non-transgendered, require separate dressing and restroom facilities, or would you require all students to use the same dressing areas and bathrooms as a matter of “fairness?”
Still looking in the constitution for the requirement that the Federal Government concern itself with the education of the citizens of the individual states. Why does the 10th amendment not apply here? Way too much Federal overreach and big-daddy overreach in this and many other areas. The Office of Education began in 1887 when “impeached” (that seems to be in vogue these days) President Andrew Johnson created it as an advisory department to collect data and “help” the states set up their own educational systems. It wasn’t until Jimmy Carter’s administration that this became a Cabinet level department. Prior to this LBJ signed the elementary and Secondary Education Act which basically preempted the state’s role in education.
The 14th amendment’s equal protection guarantee is used to justify more and more federal control, which is used to “Trump” the 10th amendment’s restriction of Federal authority.
Basically, the Federal government can find a way to usurp State’s rights anytime the Federal power-hungry players decide they want to do so.
The bureaucrat sounded like a soulless machine. The party line takes precedent over the human toll. The euphemism paints the sin a tolerable hue.
Clectivists would never allow it, But the answer is to eliminate federal involvement in education.
WHY is there a department of education?
Trump should have eliminated it just as he should have eliminated or dispanded DOEnergy, DHomelandS, EPA etc. These were agencies created by presidential decree and can be wiped out the same way.
I suspect the Person who chose your DNA structure at the instant of conception would not think kindly of efforts to change it.
