So, is loss of smell not one of the symptoms of the new strain?
Loss of taste and smell is a symptom of zinc deficiency which is why the Zelenko protocol of HCQ, zinc, and an antibiotic was so effective. Perhaps the virus has mutated in such a way that it does not deplete zinc. I don’t know if high fever would mobilize zinc to enter Covid infected cells without an ionophore like HCQ, Ivermectin, Quercetin, etc. If it did, a lower temp would aid variant Covid survival. Incidentally, in my long experience several grams of Vitamin C will lower a high temp. by about 2 degrees, at least for colds and flu.
My son’s doctor said he should take 5,000 IU Vitamin D3 for his winter depression (SAD). He will be home from a Special Forces year in Afghanistan soon and I will as how the various vitamins and zinc he took with him worked out.
Easter Virginia Medical School has a really detailed Covid protocol with graphs that clearly show the shift from early covid illness to severe pulmonary Covid. They have shifted to the ionophore Ivermectin to avoid the HCQ controversy: https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/EVMS_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf
This 2 page EVMS Management Protocol is handy to carry to your doctor: https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/Marik-Covid-Protocol-Summary.pdf
I am now working on testimony I will give tomorrow on Covid vaccination issues at a local city council. Will post it here as a comment when I am finished.
