Sobering, and on-point. Everything awful that has occurred over the past year is now magically gone, and nothing but “unity” awaits us. Here in CA, ‘vid numbers are dropping, and our governor is being nicer now. Interestingly, I was having a conversation with a friend around two weeks ago about the general state of things. He jokingly recalled how innocent we were at the start of 2020, when the death of Kobe Bryant was the “National Tragedy” we were all being told to mourn. Today I went to retrieve an email from my Yahoo account (yeah, I know...), and guess what? Kobe Bryant’s death is now BACK IN THE NEWS. Wow.
