That said, IMHO Mitch should be pushing back against holding any unconstitutional impeachment trial against a man who no longer holds office.
It’s about time. I know Freepers generally despise The Turtle, but I thought he had better political instincts. If he pushes to get a impeachment condition and succeeds, The Donald now has nothing to lose by forming a new party. In fact, it downright provokes him.
When the GENUINE President needed them they were WORTHLESS! Maybe that is why Bitch McConnell pushed them. Also the WHOLE time Trump was President this back stabber never recessed the Senate. The nominations dragged out with the maximum time used for debate. The fellow who Trump picked to be the Voice of America took 3 years to get in. Biden got rid of the guy in one day.

There is no way that Trump still has the nuclear codes. He may have a suitcase but codes can be changed.
Mitch knows he’s going to go down when this Biden farce falls apart.

Who knows? Mitch may have chosen these newer judges based on their theorectic willingness to block Trump from appealing any case of Voter Fraud, “not that any of us here expects this would ever be the case in reality!”
I was stunned when both Kavanaugh and Barrett sided with Judge Roberts.
I can’t decide if this is really about Mitch being mad about Trump stabbing him in the back over the $2k check or if something else happened to incense Mitch...like Trump dissed his wife in some way behind the scenes.
So he used Trump to get the justices and a lot of good they were when it came to stopping the steal. They couldn’t be bothered with keeping our elections fair and free of fraud.
He’s pushing the senate trial because he hates Trump like the rest of the RINOs do and doesn’t want to have to possibly deal with Trump winning in 2024.

EXACTLY! I’ve called McConnell’s D.C. office 202-224-2499 but mail box is full so can’t leave message. So... called his Louisville, Ky office 502-582-6304. Left message ....refuse to take impeachment! How will this help this Country....it won’t! Pelosi is consumed with hatred for Trump & going along with her vengeance will KILL the country.. and the GOP.
imho, ANY Republican Senator or Rep who signs on to this impeachment should be voted out ...recall would be better if possible!
