A couple in Canada have been fined for breaking Covid curfew rules after the woman was caught "walking" her husband on a leash, according to local media.
The woman reportedly told police that she was just out "walking her dog" near their home in the city of Sherbrooke, in Quebec province.
On Saturday the province imposed a nightly curfew between 20:00 and 05:00.
Walking a dog close to home is one of the only acceptable reasons to be outside between those times.
The pair were spotted by police at around 21:00 on Saturday, just a short while after the new rules came into effect.

So they ran afoul of COVID rules ... it’s not that they are freaking weirdos. Great. I guess.
Pence trying to leave the country?
The force is strong with the S&M crowd in Quebec.
For some reason French Canadian men enjoy being leashed like dogs and beaten too.
I guess they have been very , very bad little boys.

Earlier this month, a retired college professor who lives in Montreal became the focus of U.S. media attention when he fell into a three-day coma after being left alone with a dog collar around his neck and a leather hood over his face in a New York sex club. Media reports said the man kept his S&M lifestyle secret from his family in Montreal and escaped to New York to indulge his penchant for bondage and domination.

The Quebec lock down is cramping the S&M life-stylers?
Quebec men are on the hairy side. It might have worked.
she has a point about the “curfew” and
perhaps she has a second point, too, about (her?) marriage
He’s also submissive. Not very manly.
This isn’t about that though. This is about a couple wanting to go for a walk while skirting the stupid covid rules.
she probably feeds him Alpo
I wonder why it took so long to figure out that COVID comes out at night. They should have had curfews last year. We are coming up on a full year of COVID restrictions. It didn’t keep me from getting it. I went out at 10:00 PM to charge my car at the free charger. That’s when COVID got me, I guess. No other way I know of.
“I wonder why it took so long to figure out that COVID comes out at night”
Isn’t that just the darndest thing? I mean, whoever could have imagined that here in Quebec, COVID is not infectious at 7:59 p.m., but at 8:01 p.m., watch out! I guess in NYC, or other places, the virus isn’t nasty until 10:01 pm.
I told my husband that I am going to begin taking walks at 8:00 pm every night. Bring on the $6000 fine! I will challenge it in court, representing myself.
Can you believe that? $6K??? I hate this stupid province. No brains whatsoever. Why could’t my husband have been from Alberta?
Here in Ohio, Covid is even more diabolical. When you go to a restaurant, you’re in severe danger and must wear a mask while you walk the 20-50 feet to get to your table. Once you sit down, however, you’re safe and good to go.
Perhaps it has something to do with being in motion, I pity those with restless leg syndrome.

I have to laugh.
Quebec has really hugly high infection rates. They won’t knuckle under to any regulations . They refuse to wear masks.
They drive government nuts. But a lot of them are dying.
Its a riot. Or it soon will be.
Here in San Francisco even outside dining is shut. So you can go get a takeout pizza and stand and eat it from your car hood. If you were to sit at an outside cafe table you’d get sick - but stand at your car and all is well!
