It looks like all they did was scratch the algae off its hide, like scratching the frost off a window. How the manatee felt about this strange procedure I don’t know, but if it didn’t hurt the critter... I frown upon this sort of behavior, but if someone had, say taken shears and cut OBAMA into some random sheep’s fur and then let it go, I don’t know if I’d go insane with rage over it as long as the animal wasn’t hurt.
Well, whoever did it is in alot of trouble if they are caught. Cannot touch a manatee. It’s considered molesting and causes major legal trouble.
Kill a baby, just don’t touch a turtle egg or a Manatee or your life will be ruined.
