Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee, said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that removing Trump from office with impeachment is “clearly is not going to happen.”
Discussing the riots, anchor Margaret Brennan said, “Are Republican leaders going to hold him accountable in any way for it?”

With a last name like “Blunt” it would be funny if he was the kind to sugar coat everything...just sayin.
President Trump is not going to walk out and let the dims have the position they cheated for. he is not a person to quit ... and he was the one who was right.... they are not going to push him out.
he has something on the stove... his mind does not shut down.,.he has every page and document on every person around him ..... use them and clean up the barn.
This is simply a attempt to cover everything and keep him from coming back. They want to push forward and have us accept it. They don’t care about us and they are supposed to be working for us..

They absolutely can impeach him, tomorrow even. Getting a conviction and expelling him seems like it can’t happen until the 19th, but I think this time enough R Senators would vote against him (under threat of expulsion if they do not...)
They thought Trump’s support amongst his voters would collapse, hasn’t happened.
The President still has a favorable rating with the people at 48% this week. Republican Elite should bear that in mind as they see him out the door.
It’s the only reason they didn’t invoke the 25th. They were hoping this would have destroyed his support from his voters....it didn’t.
What Senator Blunt meant was that it wouldn’t happen before Jan 20. Schumer will allow the trial to go forward after he takes over.
