It’s just a party - a convenient banner for individual ambition. It worked for Trump because his program was what right-wing voters had been asking for since anyone bothered to ask. Haley is a woman with no constituency. She will fail because GOP voters don’t want someone who represents someone else at their expense. Nothing wrong with the GOP, any more than there’s anything wrong with the NRA. The GOP isn’t a thing in itself - it’s just a vehicle, a brand name.
