President Donald Trump's most fervent loyalists have been pushing a false narrative claiming that the U.S. Capitol building was breached by members of "Antifa" rather than violent Trump supporters who rioted in a failed attempt to overturn the presidential election outcome.
A pro-Trump mob assaulted police officers and stormed the building on Wednesday as Congress convened to officially certify President-elect Joe Biden's victory. Video and photographic evidence shows the crowd carrying Trump banners and signs promoting unverified claims that the election was "stolen" from the outgoing president, but Trump loyalists baselessly alleged that the real perpetrators may have been disguised anti-fascist activists.

I don’t know for sure that Antifa of BLM was involved in this situation, but to come out immediately and say it’s a baseless claim shows all you really need to know...
There is no way 100% for sure to know until it gets investigated.....which it will never happen in a fair manner.

I don’t know what to think, but so many did not look like anyone I’d ever seen at a Trump rally. Maybe the Qs showed up? Never have before, that I know of.
Anyways, I did notice so many wearing bright orange beanies at the very beginning where they were fighting the first line of police to get closer to the building. I was wondering if it was Proud Boys since I’d heard they were not going to wear their usual black & yellow?
This morning I saw the video again of the group that harassed Hawley’s house with his wife and newborn inside.
Half of them had on orange beanies.
When the press affixes the label “baseless,” it’s a signal that the crux of the story they are burying is true.

Are you kidding me? We’ve got plenty of people here on FR talking about CWII, executions, firing squads for disloyal pols and journalist, etc. And many Freepers appeared to be almost giddy at the sight of those mouth-breathing yahoos rampaging through the U.S. Capitol.

inconvenient truth: they have matched up a number of antifa types in the forefront of the assault with past BLM demonstations - and have video of Trumpsters trying to stop Antifa from breaking some windows. that’s so far. so we’ll have to see what emerges to clarify what was Antifa and what was the general crowd action.
This is how Antifa has operated from day one.....
