It's easy for me at 71 to comment on physical force against the commies while sitting in my chair. The last thing I want to see is a shooting war in DC. Know that the BLM and some Antifa commies will come armed. Be prudent in your actions, but defend yourself.
Also, know the streets from where you left your vehicle. If you have to return fire, exit quickly. Do your best damage, but don't be a hero. Live to fight another day. If such an engagement were to occur, you can bet LE will be looking at street videos for who to prosecute. Also, don't broadcast your involvement.

If you're talking about the March for Justice (Clinton Impeachment) back in 1998, I was there also. The Park Police complimented us on how well we behaved and cleaned up the grounds. I know this for fact because I was the MFJ Coordinator and dealt with those Cops a number of times during and after event. I even saw a smile or two from the Park Police.

So they will blow up everything they can in the next 2 days. Suddenly Trump made a bad phone call again and is calling his people out for violence, but they were able to break it up and going to prosecute Trump for yet another phone call that will amount to nothing. They plan on throwing 1 or 2 people under the bus for quiet charges for attempted voter fraud. They will never admit to anything...

Yes, 1998. I actually got to meet Drudge back then (didn’t know who he was till after the event). I also took a large family (10 kids)who were protesting abortion to dinner. That was a hit on my card.

Good for you, sir. It was a glorious day for conservative folks from all over the country who joined in unison to protest Clinton's crap. It was entirely Free Republic promoted and organized from a simple statement that Jim Robinson was going to DC protest Clinton. Five of us ask him if we could organize something bigger - the rest is history.
You may still order a video tape from C-Span that covered the entire event. But then who has a VHS player? CNN was also there, but apparently lost interest and left. There was no Fox News then.
Lots of other event/gatherings happened after that, but FR is no longer involved in street activism. However, as Congressman Bob Barr said, we made a difference in the Clinton Impeachment process. Job well done by all the volunteers!

The funny thing about that is I had no idea who or what Free Republic was.
I was there doing my retirement paperwork from 22 years in the US Army, I was part of the NCR. Went to visit the Smithsonian while in town, saw a bunch of people standing around protesting, and went to watch. No idea what was going on. Still didn’t know about Free Republic, started reading it but didn’t join till Iraq war.
