I agree with your thoughts on it here.
Unless a real USAian has eyes in the hospitals, me, my family and many other USAians are having _none_ of these lies.

I think the Mercy was here also, and wasn’t utilized.
We evidently have a greater need now. I think it will be
used.
Cuomo shot his mouth off about it, saying they didn’t need
it and it was dumb of Trump to send it, or some such.
Just an idiotic thing to say, when someone is trying to help

I took my son to the ER after he got in a car accident, and hit his head.
They had employees going around to almost ALL the patients, telling them in Spanish, how to get their visit paid for by the State of CA (I speak a little Spanish). When they came to us, they just said “Insurance card, please”.
It will probably be brought back.
The thing is all outfitted, and has a certain amount of staff.
Why not utilize it?
I don’t know why it spread so rapidly at this time, but I’m
thinking it had to do with the cooler weather.
Last time just as it was peaking, the weather was moving into
spring and summer.
I’m still not convinced that someone isn’t seeding the populace
with infection.
We’ll see. Right now they are turning folks away at some
emergency rooms. It doesn’t look good.
Hopefully some warmer weather will come along and put the
brakes on this.
Predictions are, that family gatherings may fuel this current
peak on for a while.
I don’t think they know what they’re talking about more than
just guessing, but we’ll see.
It is RIDICULOUS that they didn’t already have the ship in place when the cases originally started to spike nor did they have a field hospital set up. Nothing like waiting until the barn is completely on fire to start trying to lead the horses out.
I’ll grant you it doesn’t look good. At this point it is
ridiculous they haven’t called for it sooner.
Looking back they thought we probably wouldn’t see a larger
outbreak now than last March/April, but that didn’t work
out.
I’m sure they were a little gun-shy getting the ship last
time and not using it at all.
That just outright made me snort with involuntary laughter...

COVID, or Influenza counted as such? Supposedly Flu has been eradicated this season by the same measures which have not stopped the China scourge. Masks are praised in one breath, damned in the next. Hospital’s have incentives to name it COVID. Masks stop one virus and not another hitching a ride in droplets?
I did not know they had Erectile Dysfunction (ED) departments in CA., AZ., NM., and Texas. WOW!! :>)
You’re contemplating the things most folks are. On the surface
it doesn’t look good, as far as building trust that we’re
not be misled.
I’m not 100% on either side right now. It’s a quagmire of
information leading in different directions, and conclusions.

I admit to finding the ridiculousness of this humorous as it is intended to be, but to many people, including some newly registered people now crawling around on FR, they don't see the stupidity at all and go along with the sheep-like compliance.
