This is in Ironbound/Downneck, always crowded with immigrants of various stripes since before my paternal great grandparents moved there right before WWI. Nice to see the Brazilians/Portuguese/Ecuadorians ain’t letting Mayor Baraka push them around.
I grew up in Kearny. Went to Essex Catholic High School for my first two years. My great grandparents were Irish immigrants who lived in Newark ,eventually moving to Harrison and then Kearny. Good for those folks. Enough of this lockdown bs.
