“asking a federal judge to strike down the 1887 Electoral Count Act”
May be a little late for that, but whatever it takes (discailmer: not a lawyer)

A court cannot arbitrarily grant what the Constitution does not allow for. Rep. Gohmert is usually of sound mind, but someone gave him some terrible legal advice here.
As another user pointed out in another discussion earlier, the VP’s role in the vote tally is really no different than Vanna’s when she turns the letter tiles.

The constitution already says this.

If Pence chooses neither votes count the Republican sellouts will chose Biden, I fear.

As should be the norm but isn’t, every elected official serving in any capacity in any political party should do what the constitution tells them to do, uphold the constitution. It’s a very simple concept. This should be the answer to every question.

4 got it right. He already has the ultimate authority. Thomas Jefferson used it. He should announce the Trump slate of electors for all the contested states. The dems will have to object. He can then overrule their objection or go into the 2 hr session. When that ends without agreement between the houses, the Trump slate stands.
