If you can’t see ahead on a curve, slow down.

If you’re unable to stop in time, and hit a stopped car, the accident is your fault. Same is true if you hit a pedestrian or bicyclist on the shoulder of the road.

When you “used to drive trucks and when they’re fully loaded it takes a while to make a panic stop under the best conditions”, then you slow down so you can stop in time. If you don’t, you and kill someone, its manslaughter

Life must be wonderful in your Mayberry world where there’s no bumper-to-bumper 80-mile-an-hour freeway traffic, where the laws of inertia have been repealed, where everyone obeys all the rules all the time and there are no complete idiots on the freeways. It would be nice to live there but I don’t. Take your bike onto the freeway anytime you like, I won’t object. I won’t send flowers to your funeral either.
