Impossible to make that case, given that there are still “spikes” and “surges”, even, and especially in, places where they have the strictest “mitigation measures” in place. If this stupidity worked, we would be doing it for over 9 MONTHS, and we wouldn’t be hearing about needing to do it for another 12+ months.

I told my church that I will resume attendance when they remove all restriction requirements. I do play bass in the worship band so I will show up every other week to play. I don’t bother wearing a mask and they just sort of “know” to leave me and a few other old guys alone.
And I’m angry from the moment I enter until the moment I leave because I see masks as the modern equivalent of the yellow six point star. It’s an exercise and test in compliance with the absurd. I refuse to participate.
I've thought from the beginning that this "pandemic" was being contrived by the powers to be as a vehicle for financial gain and to further a political agenda.
After all, I lived through the Hong Kong flu pandemic in 1968-69 where a 150,000 people died in this country and you barely heard a word about it. No masks, no social distancing, no lockdowns, no destroying the economy. Many people were never even aware that a pandemic existed. Life continued and moved on.
But when initial reaction to the corona virus was to "flatten the curve for two weeks" and that turned into endless and continuous mask wearing, social distancing and lockdowns that never seemed to end or prevent the spread of the virus, I knew that it was most likely a scam with ulterior motives beyond the health and well-being of the public.
And then discovering that the death rate was spiked because of manipulation and new cases were contrived because of unreliable testing, causing the politicians to double down on solutions that were just the same old thing that hadn't worked all year, I knew this was a ruse.
And when the Left used the covid as an excuse for conducting an election where they could not only convince the public that the use of mail-in ballots was the only method to vote that wouldn't make the pandemic worse, but also knew they were the easiest to cheat with, it only confirmed my suspicions.
Combined with the fact that the survivoriability for this covid disease is 99.8% and the onerous lockdowns and punitive shutdowns of businesses, destroyed our economy, I am thoroughly convinced that the....
