I’ll go to my grave confident that Pope Francis will go down in history as the first, and only, Jesuit pope. He has definitely poisoned the well for other Jesuits. He’s not like the Jesuits I knew and admired from my 4 years at Gonzaga.
I am unsure there will be much “history” after this Pope. If this be not the Apocalypse...what will be?
