Actually, it would seem to me that most doctors would be perfectly fine with controlling us, albeit maybe just to get us through this pandemic.*
We can say there aren’t that many COVID patients in the hospital, but a typical ICU, as I understand it, is already mostly occupied for other reasons, so it wouldn’t take that many COVID patients to slam the ICU and overwork the medical staff.
And the bans on HCQ prescriptions do not help this situation, either.
*Yes, I think they’re wrong to impose state control on us, nonetheless.

The "you must wear a mask or you will DIE!" hysteria came from CDC and Policy doctors who many had never seen a patient since they were interns.
Your regular doctor did not get involved at all. Orders were made at the management level.
My own doctor told me not to wear the "stupid thing". So you are arguing from a false premise.
