I guess St. Matthew’s listing of the Beatitudes is defective. In 5.6 before the word “justice” he omitted the word for “social.”
I wanted to look it up. I used to have a really thick Study Bible, but I think that when I moved here, it was stolen. Either that or I lost it somehow.
Here it is:
“Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.”
