We are tourists in Afghanistan as were the ancient Macedonians. Afghanistan can be conquered but not controlled. The local powers that be run a brisk business in shearing their rulers. The surrounding countries charge bigly for supplies passing through their territory. It is a big scam that is not worth the trouble. We need to be gone. Let them continue to cut each other’s throats.
The United States of America has no interests in Afghanistan what so ever.
