What? Why? He was one of the greatest military leaders who ever lived. Wow, what stupidity.

The West tends to deem him a savage while forgetting that this was the Middle Ages - a time where the value of human life was very little. In my book, Genghis is #1 when it comes to military leaders. The Mongols were usually greatly out-numbered by their opponents and won by devising brilliant strategy and tactics that continue to be taught at War Colleges all over the world. I also use to work with a former Drill Instructor who taught at a War College and he had Genghis #1 and then Napoleon. He also said that Genghis was from another planet when it came to common sense and intelligence.
