Nitsche: God is dead.
God: Nitsche is dead.

Xi Ping: We don't know who Genghis Khan was.
World in 200 years: Never heard of Xi Ping, but we still know who Genghis Khan was.

How does Xi the Pooh know he’s not a descendant of GK himself?

Every single day, I have more evidence I am living in a George Orwell novel.

Rulers who attempt to erase history reveal their weakness of character.

There are no positives in denying history. Our own educational system has been systematically rewriting history and the effect has been disastrous.

Supposedly the 2nd worst John Wayne movie ever made.

They say he was so pissed off about having to do the movie (Studios had huge control over actors in those days!), he did it drunk.

Another apocryphal story about the movie was it was dusted by a 1950s above ground atomic test. Many of the stars & others in the film later died or had problems with cancer.

“What? Why? He was one of the greatest military leaders who ever lived. Wow, what stupidity.”

The West tends to deem him a savage while forgetting that this was the Middle Ages - a time where the value of human life was very little. In my book, Genghis is #1 when it comes to military leaders. The Mongols were usually greatly out-numbered by their opponents and won by devising brilliant strategy and tactics that continue to be taught at War Colleges all over the world. I also use to work with a former Drill Instructor who taught at a War College and he had Genghis #1 and then Napoleon. He also said that Genghis was from another planet when it came to common sense and intelligence.

Thanks for the John Wayne GIF. Even if we have to forget Genghis Khan, can we still make references to the Tartar Woman?

In bourgeois society, therefore, the past controls the present; in communist society, the present controls the past.
No; comes straight out of the Communist Manifesto.
