In my area of Western Michigan, Biden signs outnumber Trump signs significantly. But Old Glory outnumbers Biden signs by a much greater margin. And not surprisingly, houses with both Biden signs AND American flags are extremely rare. Conclusion: Trump support dominates.
I made a point of checking. There are a fair amount of Biden signs in my neck of the woods. Over the past few weeks, only 4 also had an American flag. And I figured that could be a husband covertly cancelling out a Biden sign put up by his wife!
It must be nice that they can put their Biden signs out with complete ease and without the fear of being targeted or vandalized.
But as you, I noticed that for every house with a Biden sign, there are at LEAST 15 with no signs or signs of local conservatives running for lower offices.
I hope and pray these anecdotal signs are evidence of quiet (not shy) Trump supporters.
You have to get outside of central GR or East GR and that’s when the cool Trump displays appear.
Not really because GR is Portland in any way. It’s just a PITA when one idiot tries to act like we are.
I’m surprised western Michigan would have more Biden signs. I’m in a metro Detroit suburb and I see far more Trump signs. I’ve also seen a lot more American flags go up since the election.
My neighbor and her extended family all voted for Biden. When I asked her why, she said, “Universal health care.” Then she added, “It doesn’t matter how much good Trump does if he’s a bad person. Why would I vote for someone who is good at their job if they kill puppies in their free time?”
I’m not sure I can talk to her anymore.
