We and several neighbors fly an American and a Trump flag.
In this neighborhood, a liberal trying anything would get stomped like a nark at a biker rally.
It must be nice that they can put their Biden signs out with complete ease and without the fear of being targeted or vandalized.
But as you, I noticed that for every house with a Biden sign, there are at LEAST 15 with no signs or signs of local conservatives running for lower offices.
I hope and pray these anecdotal signs are evidence of quiet (not shy) Trump supporters.
Some in our parts have put up “JESUS 2020” signs in their yards.
I live in a rural area and I have an American flag on my mailbox and a very large one on my shed in the back, Both are visible from the road out front. KAG!
We’ve had flag bunting and six medium size American flags up in our front yard for weeks. Two weeks ago we bought six Trump yard signs and a 3 ft by 5 ft Trump flag which we nailed above the garage door. Our lot is on a 3 way intersection in a planned community. Mr Roo Roo and I have been making a BIG Trump supporter statement LOL!
I bring my signs in at night and put them out again every morning. So far so good.
I have seen other Trump yard signs in the neighborhood but it looks like most of them have been stolen. Of course, the obnoxious Biden signs NEVER get stolen because we Trump supporters aren’t a bunch of nasty savages.

I knocked on a lot of doors and there are many American Flags out.
I think a lot of suburban women are feeling the same pressure as the author. That is why the gap is apparently so huge when in reality it is much smaller. They just do not want the hassle of being outcasts in their neighborhoods for their political leanings. Same with college educated people to a lesser extent who do not want to be labeled with the deplorable sticker. That may be the bulk of the “shy” vote.
You have to get outside of central GR or East GR and that’s when the cool Trump displays appear.
Not really because GR is Portland in any way. It’s just a PITA when one idiot tries to act like we are.

When I moved into my house in Austin, the American flag went up with a spotlight shining on it at night.
My street has more BLM and Biden signs than American flags.
I am not scared, I am defiant. I have both an American flag and a Trump sign.

I always have my American flag out. This year I have a Trump sign and my neighbor has one as well. I am going to bring it in when the polls close.
If I saw a house with a black flag, I’d assume it was a democrat.
Not only the American flag, but also Trump signs, Gadsen Flag and Thin Blue Line sign!
No one wants to wake up to a burning house by a bunch of cowards & loser LEFTISTS>... they don’t fight fair — and when trying to protect oneself from these idiots — if you do kill one of them — then YOU get arrested .... not the other way around... maybe that will change after Trump is re-elected !
Wonder if some people put up black lights?
Those would be hard to see lol.
I’ve been flying the flag.
The USA flag will replace it when Trump wins.
