We figured this out MONTHS ago in PA.
Also some have put up “PRAY” yard signs which I take as a surrogate for not wanting to get a Trump sign stolen or vandalized.
I do wear a MAGA hat all over, though. But I'm carrying, also.
I did take my Gadsden flag down (Mrs. Michael.SF was nervous)today, but left the American flag up.
Photo of an American flag displayed over a house in the United States.
Dog on porch: “You don’t like it? You gotta go through me. Try it.”
I put one on my mailbox 3 days ago.
Another signal is blue bulbs in porch lights — for Blue Lives Matter / Trump.
In my area of Western Michigan, Biden signs outnumber Trump signs significantly. But Old Glory outnumbers Biden signs by a much greater margin. And not surprisingly, houses with both Biden signs AND American flags are extremely rare. Conclusion: Trump support dominates.

My 4x6 flies every day in TX. What’s the problem ?
True. I’m in a purple county in a deep blue state (CA). A few months ago I found our American flag tucked away in our garage, in a corner, as I was looking for something else.
I thought: “Why do we only put this up on Memorial Day and Independence Day etc? We should just leave it up permanently.” And I put it up. A few months ago.
I wasn’t thinking about Trump or the election at all, at the time, but now I’ve noticed my (few) conservative neighbors are also the ones who hang the flag out permanently now.
In our neighborhood, the proxy for a Trump/Pence sign is a sign for the incumbent conservative Republican candidate for the state House of Representatives. I am certain everyone voting for that candidate will also vote for Trump, but they are not advertising it, for good reason.
I made a point of checking. There are a fair amount of Biden signs in my neck of the woods. Over the past few weeks, only 4 also had an American flag. And I figured that could be a husband covertly cancelling out a Biden sign put up by his wife!
My flag is up and I’m in Illinoistan.
We’re flying a 33-star United States flag, similar to the design flown over Fort Sumter - it’s an important election...
Not only that but also local conservatives running for office.
Here where I live, I know a lot of Trump supporters who won’t put out a Trump sign for fear of:
1. Having their home targeted and vandalized.
2. Fear of being harassed.
3. Having their liberal “friends” “unfriend” them.
However, they put out the signs of conservatives running in local races.
Those are what I’ve kept my eye on.
NO PROBLEM FOR ME!
I’ve noticed that for many of them the American flag isn’t good enough. They feel the need to create new ones that represent their specific subculture, with blue stripes or all in blue. Sort of a mild form of secession.
