Hurricane Eta formed in the Western Caribbean Sea. Short term impact threatens Central America from Nicaragua to Honduras, Guatemala and Belize. The slow moving storm is forecast to circle back into the Western Caribbean by late week.

I am really concerned about FL water/flooding issues
Lake okeechobee is very high at 16.26 ft, it has been very wet
and the water storage areas in the everglades are way above regulation where they want them at this time of year
Irma raised Lake okeechobee from 13.7 ft to 17.2 feet
they don’t like it above 15.5 because it puts pressure on the aging dike (which is being upgraded)
even is ETA doesn’t hit FL directly..the rain could
by the way ETA looks like a high end SAT 4/CAT 5 to me
last 2 recon planes had issues and had to return to base
