A friend of mine who was very liberal married to an extremely liberal woman voted for Trump in the last election.

Because of mail in voting and because he didn't want to further endanger his marriage he voted for Biden.

His wife checked to make sure before they sealed his ballot into the envelope.

To get back at her he kept bringing up Trump in our conversations hoping we would say how much we loved Trump in front of his wife, but we didn't want to make her cry. So he basically got screwed.

I love my wife dearly but if I had to vote for Biden to please her I would rather live without her or drop dead, whichever came first. What kind of life is that? If you have to have your wife’s permission to vote you don’t have anything worth keeping. Your friend must be a confused sort of person.
