I agree.   Cruz is wrong.   I think that, deep down inside, Cruz still harbors some unresolved resentment towards Trump, ever since Trump thoroughly kicked his ass, and, every once in a while, Cruz takes an opportunity to shoot out some kind of weird, roundabout shot at Trump.
