Even if a mask does stop a droplet, or molecule, then it’s just sitting on the outside of the mask, collecting more gunk all day long. Then you touch it 400 times, go into a public restroom and those toilets that flush like Niagara Falls send droplets EVERYWHERE, so think about that on your mask. I take mine off, but then your handling it and putting it in your pocket. Someone needs to do a lab analysis on the crud on both sides of the mask, after a day of use.

I don't wear a mask unless absolutely required to.

Like going the the local VA hospital for my annual checkup. Or flying on an airplane on a recent trip.

But locally, I do not wear one. Not outside nor inside. Not to the grocery that says they require them or to the hardware store or to the CVS drugstore. No one says a word to me about not wearing a mask. And social distancing is a joke. No one follows that rule from what I can tell except for the frightened, woke Leftists. You can spot them a mile off, walking cautiously, afraid the virus will literally jump on them if they move too fast or get too near someone else.

The stupidest rule is having to wear a mask to enter a restaurant but then you're allowed to remove the mask after coming through the door. I don't wear a mask in the car, I put one on to go in the front door and then immediately remove the mask to sit down and eat. Huh? What's that all about? Viruses are inert, submicroscopic particles. They don't jump on you as you enter and then go away as soon as you're inside. Dumbest thing I've heard of.

The best thing one can do to stop the spread of the virus is to wash your hands regularly and stop touching your hands to your eyes, nose or mouth. But, ironically, this effort is emphasized the least because it's not "visible" like wearing a mask and staying 6 feet away from other people. Others can't tell if you have washed your hands recently or not.

I view most of this as government-induced mass hysteria, especially by Leftist governors and mayors, to frighten the sheeple into believing something that is just not so.
